Competing through the finish

The final result did not change the effort Grand County showed on its home court. Even after Kanab gained the match advantage, the Lady Red Devils continued to compete with grit and determination, refusing to back down.

The opening set offered a clear measure of the challenge Grand County presented. A 27-25 finish leaves little separating the teams on the scoreboard, and the Red Devils’ effort in that set reflected a group willing to battle for every point.
